The Engineering Planned Sea Training is responsible for the monitoring and assessment of cadets who join various types of merchant ships in order to accomplish their sea service time (6 months) that enable them to attend the upgrading course for 3rd engineer in order to be qualified to sit for the 3rd Engineer exam (EOW Certificate of Competency).

With a firm emphasis on the professional requirements for a career at sea, the department is staffed predominantly with former seafarers.Monitoring and assessment within the department is a blend of traditional and innovative methods designed to enhance individual skills and equip the cadets for the challenges faced on-board any type of merchant vessels.

The department offers a supportive and professional surrounding with all of our staff dedicated to seeing to it that our cadets spend a successful and fertile period at their sea service time.
