Developing the performance of Egyptian ports has become an urgent necessity to keep pace with the technological development in global ports, moreover to achieve the requirements of economic development, enhance competitiveness at the regional and international levels, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the performance of transport services economically and technically, while preserving the environment.

From this standpoint, Ports Training Institute (PTI) was keen to hold several workshops with participation of a group of academic professors, decision-makers, and industry figures, to come up with recommendations that contribute positively to the development of Egyptian ports and to develop a vision for how to implement this vision, which contributes to raising Egyptian ports performance.
