Admission Requirements for the MSc Program
The institute accepts the students holding:
- Bachelor's degree in Maritime Transport/Naval Science
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Business, Law, Engineering, International Transport and Logistics or Equivalents degree
- The Candidates holding Bachelor's degree in Maritime Transport/Naval Science should pass fifteen credit hours (Five Courses) to join the MSc degree as follows:
- Management of Information System
- Scientific Thinking
- Statistical and computational Methods
- Energy Efficiency Management
- Environmental Risk Assessment and Management
- The Institute can impose at maximum 3 courses as a deficiency courses for some Bachelor's degree from the following courses:
- Management of Pollution Crises and Cont. Plans
- Statistical and computational Methods
- Energy Efficiency Management
- Logistic Marketing Strategy
- International Business Management
- Naval Architecture and Stability
- Marine Accident Investigations
- Marine Insurance
- Cargo Handling Operation Management
- Maritime Safety Administration
Admission Requirements for PhD`s Program
Applicants may have:
- MSc degree in Maritime Transport
- MSc degree in marine engineering
- MSc degree in International Transport and Logistics
- MSc degree in Environmental and Climate Change Management
- MSc degree in Engineering, Law, Science, Business and Equivalents
For the students holding MSc degree in Engineering, Law, Science, Business and Equivalents, they must pass the following 5 preparation courses with total 15 credit hours as follows:
- Fleet Operation
- Port Operation Management
- Maritime Safety Administration
- Introduction to Maritime Law
- Supply Chain and Logistic Management
In addition to the above the student should submit TOEFL score not less than 500 or equivalent and FTDC before starting the Thesis.
