Postgraduate Research

A Master of Science in Electronics and Communication is a postgraduate degree program that focuses on the advanced study of electronic and communication systems. This program is designed for students who want to specialize in the field of electronics and communication and develop their skills in areas such as wireless communication, digital signal processing, and microelectronics. The program usually consists of 32 credit hours and includes 4 core courses, 4 elective courses, and a thesis.

The core courses in this program are designed to provide students with a strong foundation in the fundamental principles of electronics and communication. These courses may cover topics such as analog and digital communication systems, microelectronics, digital signal processing, and wireless communication systems. The elective courses, on the other hand, allow students to choose specific areas of interest within the field of electronics and communication. These courses may include topics such as communication seminars, optical communication systems, and VLSI design.

The thesis component of this program is a research project that allows students to apply the knowledge and skills they have learned throughout the program to a real-world problem. The thesis must be based on original research and must be of publishable quality. In fact, one of the requirements for graduation is that the student must publish an international paper based on their thesis research.

The duration of the program can vary depending on the student's effort and time. On average, it takes between 2.5 to 5 years to complete the program. Students can choose to complete the program on a full-time or part-time basis, depending on their circumstances.

If you are interested in pursuing a Master of Science in Electronics and Communication, you can contact Dr. Mohamed Abaza for more information. Dr. Abaza is the head of the department and can provide guidance on the program's curriculum, admission requirements, and research opportunities. You can reach him via WhatsApp at 01224442136.
