Open Talk with Businessman and Entrepreneur/ Ahmed Abu Hashima (March 7, 2023)

The branch of the Arab Academy in the new city of El Alamein hosted His Excellency Representative / Ahmed Abu Hashima, businessman and industrialist, Chairman of the Youth and Sports Committee, and the founder of Abu Hashima Al-Khair, the sponsor of the Abu Hashima Start-up Competition. And that was at the headquarters of the Arab Academy in El Alamein, and he was received by His Excellency Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar - Ismail Abdel Ghafar, President of the Arab Academy, Prof. Dr. Mir Hamza, Vice President of the Academy for Institutional Development and Digitization, and Prof. Dr. Nevin Mohamed Youssef Al Sagheer, Dean of the Faculty of Management and Technology in El Alamein Branch.

Sustainability Session (February 26, 2023)

The Academy's branch in El Alamein embraces the Arab Sustainability Day and that is under the support of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy, Hosted by the College of Management and Technology, El Alamein Branch. Prof. Dr. Nevin Al Sagheer, Dean of the College of Administration and Dr. Muhammad Al-Shayeb, Dean of Student Affairs In her speech, Prof. Dr. Nevin Al Sagheer, Dean of the College of Administration, welcomed the attendees, Eng. Ahmed Fathy - Programmer and Executive Director of the Call Me Signal platform - and Eng. Mohamed Kamel - Head of the "Engineers for a Sustainable Egypt" initiative. The holding of this event confirms the academy's keenness to consolidate its role as a leading institution in Egypt and the Arab world. which contributes to achieving the goals of sustainable development.

Egyptian Media Production City Field Visit (December 30, 2022)

The College of Management and Technology organized a field visit to the Media Production City. Where the students participated in a workshop on "Basics of Securities". Certificates of attending the workshop were distributed to the students, in addition to the students taking souvenir photos and taking a tour inside the studios of the Media Production City.

     

The Importance of Business Graduate for the Market (November 30, 2022)

College of Management and Technology, El Alamein, hosted Mr. Mohamed Al-Antably - General Manager of the "Trans Misr" commercial group of companies in Alexandria. Mr. Mohamed Al-Antably indicated the need of the logistics transport companies for a graduate of the College of Management, as he enjoys comprehensive knowledge in all fields, as the business administration specialization connects with all companies with different activities and the wide branches of this specialization, as it plays a major role in the development of companies and products.

Your Career Starts Here Session (October 26, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein was pleased to host a session on Tuesday the 25th of October 2022 about “Your Career Starts Here” by Ms. Nouran Elzuheiry, Talent Acquisition Officer at Ebank. The session discussed topics about how to write a CV, how to deal with labor market and how to deal during personal interviews aiming to support students and develop their skills for labor market.

     

"Meet the Best Version of Yourself" Session (October 17, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein hosted today, Monday the 17th of October 2022, a session about “Meet the Best Version of Yourself” by Dr. Iman Fekri - Career Coach and Mr. Abdallah Rabiaa - ICF Certified Coach and Specialist in Self-Development. The session discussed topics about the future vision, self-discovery, soft skills and their importance in social and professional life. Also, it addressed ways to improve self-confidence, communication skills and balancing personal and professional life. Guiding our students to access knowledge and insights to help reinforcing their professional identity as today’s conversations create tomorrow’s opportunities.

     

Sports Management Session (October 12, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein hosted a session by Mr. Marwan Rashed, PR Manager at Alex Runners, talking about sports management the field of business that focuses directly on sports and recreation. Alex Runners, Alexandria Marathon for Organizing Events, has organized a lot of sporting and charitable events in the recent period, like the Half Marathon and the Alexandria Marathon for a distance of 21 km in 2017/2018 and 2020/2021 and Alexandria Sports Festival in cooperation with Alexandria Governorate, including an awareness run for the “C” virus in partnership with the “C” treatment center at the Faculty of Medicine of Alexandria University. They seek to change the sports culture of the Alexandrian people and push them to exercise freely on the Alexandria Corniche, so that they enjoy better health and style and encouraging them to get rid of unhealthy habits that necessarily affect all aspects of life.

  

Career Development Center Session "Prepare for the Future" (October 11,2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein hosted today Tuesday 11th of October 2022 an orientation session about “Prepare for the Future” by Career Development Center (CDC) Director Dr. Ayman Shawky. The CDC aims to assist the students from their first day on campus to their graduation .The CDC programs and services are designed to help and guide AAST students to pursue their goals and dreams.They are hand in hand with each student since their arrival on campus to assist with their career development process.

Our Business Alamein students yesterday during their experience behind the scenes of shooting an ad for “Hops” restaurant and learning more about their digital marketing campaigns. As one of the important reasons to study business at university is the real industry experience you will have the chance to get. When you study business, you will have the opportunity to intern with different companies, work on real-world projects and networks with professionals. This experience will be invaluable when you start your career after graduation.

Banlastic Session (May 30, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein hosted on Monday the 30th of May 2022, a session about “Plastic Pollution and Climate Change.” The session was represented by Mr. Ahmed Yassin co-founder and marketing strategist of Banlastic Egypt. Banlastic Egypt is social enterprise based in Alexandria that tackles the plastic pollution problem and aims to ban single use of plastic.

Through the session Mr. Ahmed Yassin discussed the harms of plastic; from not being able to biodegrade, to breaking down into small pieces and entering our food chain, harming marine life by being ingested and tangled in and finally how it’s expected that by 2050, there will be more plastic in the sea than Fish. Sequentially, Banlastic is aiming to ban the single use plastics in Egypt to contribute in the global action towards the plastic catastrophe and the sustainable development goals 2030.

     

Entrepreneurship Session (May 9, 2022)

It was held today at College of Management and Technology Alamein a session about “Entrepreneurship” presented by Dr. Hossam Khaled El-Abd - Chairman & CEO at Elabd Chemical Industries Company. During the session Dr. Hossam El-Abd explained what is entrepreneurship, who is an entrepreneur and why entrepreneurship. He also shared with students examples for entrepreneurs through the years and how they succeeded to achieve their accomplishments. The session further discussed some of the theories about Entrepreneurship, it’s importance and what are the characteristics of an entrepreneur. Besides, the different types of entrepreneurships and what may causes its failure.

                                                                                                                                    

Faragallah Field Visit ( March 9, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein has organized on Wednesday 9th of March 2022 a factory visit to Faragallah Group. A group of College of Management and Technology Alamein Hull program students were welcomed at the Faragallah Group factory at Borg ElArab. They had the opportunity to see how several production lines produce quality products for consumers and exports.

Gamification Session (February 28, 2022)

College of Management and Technology Alamein starts the activities of the new semester with a session about ‘Gamification’ on Monday 28th of February 2022 presented by Mr. Ahmed Fatallah - President of Rotary Club of Alexandria East. The session discussed “Gamification” and how it can be defined as the application of game-design elements and game principles in non-games contexts to solve problems by using or applying the characteristics of game elements.
