The College of Language and Communication’s Media Department is home to a distinguished group of faculty members who combine academic expertise with professional achievements. Our professors have received numerous local and international awards in recognition of their research contributions and creative works in media, journalism, and production, as well as their dedication to serving the academic community. These awards reflect the college’s commitment to academic excellence and thought leadership in the field of media.
In a ceremony of the First Arab Drama Conference with the participation of the Media and Communication Sector of the League of Arab States. The event includes the honoring of deans of media faculties across the Arab Republic of Egypt in recognition of their academic and professional contributions.
Among those honored was Professor Yasser El Shamy, Dean of the College of Language and Communication, Smart Village in recognition of his prominent role in advancing the fields of media and academic education.
It is noteworthy that the official conference will be held in Doha, aiming to enhance the role of Arab drama in the media and shed light on cultural and artistic issues impacting Arab societies.
