Under the auspices of Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. The Arab Academy Al Alamein Campus, is witnessing the First International Logistics Camp in cooperation with Duisberg Essen University in Germany during the period from 30th of August till 2nd of September 2021 in the presence of Prof. Ing. Bernd Noche, Board Chairman of Center of Logistics and Traffic, and Prof. Ani Melkonyan, Executive Director of Center of Logistics and Traffic in University of Duisberg Essen, in the framework of spreading the best practices in Smart and Sustainable Logistics which is highly significant in the effective and rapid development in the EU and the MENA region.
The camp focuses on spreading the advanced logistics concepts with providing solutions to enhance the efficiency of supply chains and market competitiveness along with preserving the environment by applying the latest supply chain management methods, and smart and sustainable logistics. The camp focuses on a wide range of topics from production to sales, where it provides educational seminars, business games, case studies, interactive content, and technical tours.
42 participants are joining from various fields, as there are students from the different branches in El-Alamein, Alexandria, Cairo, Port Said, and Aswan, in addition to a group of experts working in the fields of transportation, logistics, and supply chain in Egypt.
Along with the professors of Duisburg-Essen, 25 speakers are participating from businessmen, industrial experts.
