Program Description

This major provides students with the core knowledge related to a wide variety of supply chain activities, including demand planning, purchasing, inventory control, distribution, information technology, and global supply chain management. Lectures and applications in this major highly rely on up-to-date materials, case studies, field visits, and projects that would prepare students to work in the very competitive and lucrative fields of supply chain management.

Learning Outcomes

  • The supply chain management major prepares students for a broad career field, where professionals are involved in every step of the process of providing goods to the consumer, from the time when materials are grown in the ground or mined from itو until they appear on the retail store shelves. Graduates with a supply chain major are likely to work in any of these key areas: materials and procurement, logistics, supply chain management, inventory management, operations, distribution, sales, and customer service and consulting.
