Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
Graduates of the Software Engineering program at CCIT are expected, within a few years of graduation, to:
- (PEO1) Be successful professionals in the field by exhibiting solid foundations in software engineering and utilizing the appropriate methodologies, principles, processes, and quality standards.
- (PEO2) Advance their technical skills in software engineering through continuous learning, research, and/or graduate studies.
- (PEO3) Further extend their communication skills, teamwork capabilities, critical thinking, and time management abilities, as well as operate in line with professional, ethical, legal, and societal considerations.
The PEOs support the missions of both the institution and college.
The review of the PEOs is launched every year. The primary goal is to periodically ensure that the PEOs are based on the needs of the program's various constituencies and are aligned by the institution mission. The constituencies of the program are faculty, Industry representatives, alumni, and students.
