Who We Are

The Integrated Simulators Complex (ISC) is one of the most significant entities of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport. It established since 1996 and strives to be one of the momentous bodies in simulation field.

ISC over these years has recognized and accepted the challenge of being technically up-to-date, so it succeeded to earn the latest line of technology in Simulation field. These simulators are considered to be the sate-of-art in simulation technology that strongly supported the ISC to be a unique integrated simulators complex in the region.

The ISC strives continuously to maintain its leadership role in providing bi-lingual simulation training to multinational professionals within the Maritime and oil industries, it also plays a major role in conducting various studies and consultations based on simulation techniques for maritime quays, terminals and ports. In addition to the consultancy services that provided to those quays which are still at their under-construction phase.

Moreover, ISC is providing different consultations and studies to support the development and improvement of many Arab and African Countries in such fields. These services are provided through academic highly qualified competent staff who continuously seek to achieve higher levels of performance.

Quality Assurance Unit

ISC has been succeeded to fulfill the ISO 9001 standard requirements since 2012. Its Quality Management System satisfies the ISO 9001:2015 standard requirements certified by DNV, to comply with the International Convention on Standards of Training, Certification and Watch-keeping for Seafarers (STCW 78) and its amendments of MANILA 2010 (STCW Convention and STCW Code – 2017 Edition).

Quality Policy


The Integrated Simulators Complex (ISC) is committed to maintain its leadership role in providing bi-lingual simulation training and learning to multinational professionals and students within the marine and oil industries in the Middle East Region and rest of the world. It also provides consultation services for different companies in the fields of Marine, Environment Protection and Crisis Management, Global Maritime Distress System and Liquefied Natural Gas.

By utilizing the top line simulation technology, and near-perfect communication and understanding between the five ISC integrated systems, ISC provides up-to-date training instructions through professional Ph.D. and Masters holders who coordinate and instruct students of both operator and management level courses using the highest standards of service quality to help them attain the required certification and training as directed by the responsible registration and accreditation agencies.

In order to achieve outstanding levels of performance and satisfy customers ISC is actively concerned with the following:

To maintain this outstanding performance, ISC carries out the creation and implication of Quality Management System, which is compatible with the requirements of international standards ISO 9001:2015, in addition to the requirements of the STCW 78 and its amendments and related Egyptian Ministerial Decrees.
