Description

It comprises process development from the Lab to the Plant, material construction for chemical industry. Selected examples of industrial drug syntheses are taught while predicting the possible impurities that may be found in their finished products and ways of their detection and control. The student will be acquainted with flow diagram sheets relevant for the production of the selected drugs taught. Methods of separation of the stereospecific enantiomers which possess more biological activity than racemic mixtures are also included in the course.
