The journey of the College of Pharmacy - Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport - towards excellence and continuous development started six years ago owing to the dedicated and tireless work of its staff and the concerted efforts of all the concerned parties seeking to share experiences to achieve the highest levels of achievement and excellence to graduate generations that are capable of national and international competitions.

The college is constantly working on updating its study plans, attracting distinguished academic competencies, in addition to developing the infrastructure and providing it with the latest equipment. The college also seeks to enhance its cooperation with pharmaceutical organizations on the national and international levels in addition to the academic and professional fields.

From this perspective, the strategic plan preparation committee at the College of Pharmacy reviews the strategic objectives of the Academy, its future orientations, general strategic plan, and the College's current situation. As a part of the College’s five-year strategic plan (2021-2026), the committee has identified a set of strategic goals representing a living example of the views of all the College's stakeholders including students, faculty members and administrators, in addition to local community representatives of the Pharmacy Syndicate and pharmaceutical organizations.

In order to ensure its success, the College requires the full cooperation of all parties so as to attain a sustainable pharmacy education which it strives to achieve. Through following a scientific and systematic manner, this strategic plan is based on the following main objectives: education and learning, research and development, international status, social responsibility and digital transformation.

In fact, these goals reflect the Academy's strategic vision, and analyzes the competitive environment, the current situation of the college, the needs for cooperation with international universities, and the aim of implementing the guidelines of the American International Accreditation for Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE).

This strategic plan is the College's second plan, hoping that the next five years will be successful and distinguishing years for the College by developing the pharmacy educational process in order to reach the highest ranks among the most prestigious international universities.
