Studies and Consultations
The Transport and Logistics Management Department in Alexandria has prepared a wide range of studies and feasibility studies, and has also participated in the implementation of a wide range of projects related to the required consultation, Among these studies and projects, for example:
- Ways to protect SMEs during COVID-19 in the Arab world: a cooperation with Union of Arab Chambers 2020 (in Arabic)
- Egyptian Ports Master Plan 2030: The Egyptian Transport ministry and AAST signs a comprehensive plan for Egyptian commercial ports 2030 and contract of implementing the study of Egyptian maritime ports comprehensive plan 2030. Where the government was decided to direct and manage the planning of Egyptian ports future projects as for the importance of ports sector and the high costs of their development projects. 2019
- Incentives and qualifying factors for the investment environment in the Arab world: based on best practices: a cooperation with Union of Arab Chambers 2019 (in Arabic)
- Integration between AASTMT, college of International Transport and Logistics and the Egyptian Ministry of River Transport aims at developing the River Transport system in Egypt in collaboration with CITL in terms of providing training programs, consultancy services in order to improve the technicians and the employees of River Transport Ministry
- Consultation provided to the ElMasryeen Company for Distribution and Services on evaluating the current situation and determining a set of business models for the company
- Technical advice provided to the Egyptians Company for Distribution and Services on “assessing the current situation and identifying a set of business models for the Egyptians Company for Distribution and Services”
- A study on the mechanisms of transporting vegetables and fruits in Sohag Governorate from the old market to the modern market. And a study for the benefit of the General Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce 2019.
- Establishment of an Arab mechanism to support the manufacture and repair of ships in the Arab countries
- A feasibility study for entering the container construction and repair market for the Alexandria Shipyard Company of the Maritime Industries and Services Authority (2021)
- Preparing a study on "Establishment of Logistics Centers in Egypt", based on the Urban Communities Authority allocating a number of Lands to establish logistical centers in cooperation with the Egyptian Prime Minister and Assistant to the President of the Republic.
- Studying the establishment of an Arab mechanism and database to support the ship repair and construction industry in Arab countries / دراسة انشاء آلية عربية وقاعدة بيانات لدعم مجال صناعة اصلاح وبناء السفن في الدول العربية
