Introduction to Computer Programming" workshop for students from surrounding schools
From Sunday, August 28, 2022, to Thursday, September 1, 2022
The College of Computer and Information Technology at Abu Qir organized a workshop titled "Introduction to Computer Programming" as part of its community service efforts to enhance awareness of computer science and information technology among students from surrounding Middle schools. A total of six schools participated in the workshop, along with some supervisors. The students praised the academy and the capabilities of the College, expressing their interest in repeating the workshop and extending its duration due to its importance.
Scientific competition aimed at educating students in the fields of environment and conservation
The College of Computing and Information Technology in Abukir held a scientific competition to educate students in the environmental fields and preserve the environment.
Workshop provided by the University of Autonoma Barcelona for students of the College of Computing and Information Technology
The University of Autonoma Barcelona, in cooperation with the College of Computing and Information Technology in Abukir, held a workshop for the students of the College and dealt with the following topics: Python Programming. Intro to Big Data. Intro to Cloud. Maths for AI and ML.

A seminar presented by (eSpace) entitled (Career Kick-start Day)
Within the framework of the Academy's leading role to link academic study with industry and community service, the College of Computing and Information Technology in its main branch in Abukir in Alexandria hosted the company (eSpace) and presented how to write a CV, the points that must be provided by students applying for work or training, and invited students to take advantage of university life at the level of student activities that refine personality and open new horizons to face practical life and discuss the latest trends in the industry to raise awareness of the software industry and link the benefit of university life to The scientific level of the requirements of the labor market.

Artificial Intelligence “Opportunities in Challenges” Conference at Bibliotheca Alexandria
The Bibliotheca Alexandria Information and Professional Skills Institutions Department, in cooperation with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), organized the "Artificial Intelligence: Opportunities in the Face of Challenges" conference, which included a distinguished group of AI projects presented by the College of Artificial Intelligence and other faculties at the Arab Academy for Science and Technology, as well as the Japanese University of Science and Technology and the University of Technology in Borg El Arab.
In the presence of representatives from the College members of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the Japanese University of Science and Technology, and the University of Technology in Borg El Arab, Dr. Nada Hani, Head of the Software Engineering Department at the Faculty, representing the Faculty, gave a presentation entitled "The Role of Artificial Intelligence and Game Elements in Motivating Students to Learn"
Biostatistics Department Annual Scientific Conference
Within the framework of cooperation between the Directorate of Health Affairs in Alexandria and the Higher Institute of Public Health, Alexandria University, the annual scientific conference of the Department of Biostatistics was opened on Wednesday, September 20, 2023, in the conference hall of the Institute under the title "Expanding Frontiers of Biostatistics in Health Research" Dr. Mohamed Kholief, Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs, representing the College, gave a lecture entitled" Big Data Analysis and Its Application in Health Care".
Digital Hub Event (AI and IoT)
Within the framework of the Academy's leading role to link academic study with industry and community service, the Faculty of Computing and Information Technology in its main branch in Abukir in Alexandria held a workshop entitled (Artificial Intelligence and IoT) in cooperation with (Digital Hub) on Sunday, October 22, 2023, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Shaheen, Vice Dean for Training and Community Service, and several responsibility centers and faculty members at the faculty, during which the different fields of artificial intelligence applications and job requirements in this field were presented. Answer many of the questions of the students present.
Seminar entitled (Environmental Conservation and Waste Recycling) presented by Olive Recycling Solutions
In cooperation with the College of Computing and Information Technology in Abukir, Olive Recycling Solutions held an introductory seminar for students about the environment, its importance, how to preserve it, and the latest means of recycling waste.

Seminar presented by (Mega Trust)
Within the framework of the Academy's leading role in linking academic study with industry and community service, the College of Computing and Information Technology with its main branch in Abukir in Alexandria hosted the company "Mega Trust. Some points were presented and developed to build the students' professional future, and the meetings were characterized by interaction with students and their involvement in the presentations presented.
Workshop provided by Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency
Within the framework of the pioneering role played by the College of Computing and Information Technology in serving the community and caring for and preserving the environment, the College in partnership with the Environmental Affairs Agency held a workshop entitled (Environmental Awareness) on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Al-Farsi Hall.
During this, a presentation was made on the damage of plastic to marine life, environmental awareness, and how the individual and society can participate in preserving our Kingdom's environmental resources.
