All undergraduate and graduate programs in the College of Computing and Information technology are currently accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.

The Computer Science and Information Systems undergraduate programs at the College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), at AASTMT Alexandria, AbuKir are accredited by the Computing Accreditation Commission (CAC) of ABET.

The Software Engineering undergraduate program at the College of Computing and Information Technology (CCIT), at AASTMT Alexandria, AbuKir is accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) of ABET.

In 2018, AASTMT was among only two institutions in Egypt with Computer Science accredited programs, and the first and only institution with Information Systems accredited programs.
