strategic goals

  • The creation of a new generation of archaeologists and heritage professionals who are equipped with proper academic research skills and the state-of-the-art technology in the field.
  • Address the current gap that exists in the academic programs teaching archaeology and cultural heritage in Egypt and the Arab countries which focus on theoretical knowledge rather than practical field experience.
  • Focus on interdisciplinary studies that will concentrate on cultural heritage and economics, digital heritage and documentation, international cultural property law, and cultural heritage management.
  •  Train archaeologists and heritage professionals at the government entities in Egypt and the Arab Region on the state-of-the-art technologies, as well as scientific methodologies in archaeology and cultural heritage.
  • Develop scientific research through creating think tanks and research groups that focus on finding solutions to the different challenges facing the study, preservation, conservation and management of the Arab and African cultural heritage.
  • Disseminate the research back and forth between the West, Arab and African Countries through holding joint workshops, training courses, and conferences.
