In line with Sustainable Development Goal 1 (SDG1) to eradicate global poverty, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) has implemented a comprehensive approach. AASTMT is committed to increasing financial aid for students, developing anti-poverty programs, and engaging in community initiatives. The institution provides financial support, ranging from 10% to 15%, to new students each semester, with consideration for individual financial challenges. Charitable organizations contribute scholarships, fostering an environment for education. AASTMT extends its commitment to SDG1 by offering training courses, supporting entrepreneurship through the AAST Entrepreneurship Center, operating regionally, and engaging in social responsibility activities globally. The institution aims to create a lasting impact on individuals and communities in alignment with SDG1.
