Green Economy and Sustainable Development' under the slogan 'Egyptian Policies... Pathways to the Future.'
The academy participated as a platinum sponsor on November 26th and 27th, 2023, in the seventh edition of the Green Economy and Sustainable Development Conference.
The activities of the first day, held at the Conrad Hotel in Cairo, concluded today and comprised four discussion sessions in addition to an opening session. The sessions addressed the concept of the green economy, its role in a changing world, leading international experiences in the green economy and digital transformation, and the role of economic development within the context of green economy data. Additionally, a session was dedicated to presenting the engines of the green economy and growth opportunities in the Arab Republic of Egypt.
Dr. Mohamed El Nashar, Dean of the Language and Media College at the Cairo headquarters in New Cairo, delivered a speech on behalf of Dr. Ismail Abdelghaffar Ismail Farag, the President of the Academy, at the opening session, representing him as he was abroad.
Furthermore, a delegation of academy students from the New Cairo campus participated in organizing the conference, alongside the academy's admissions and registration department in Cairo, which presented and explained all the specializations and departments of the academy's colleges and international programs at the exhibition held alongside the conference.
The language professors at the Language and Media College in the academy showcased distinguished scholarly participation, with presentations of research papers by Dr. Nivine Nabil on the role of environmental literature in enhancing awareness and by Dr. Mai Al-Falaki on digital media and the impacts of the war on Gaza."
