Faculty of Engineering and Technology - Dean Dr. Akram Suleiman Al-Sulami aims to collaborate with leading industrial companies in various fields. In line with this vision, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohamed Khamees Hassan from the Department of Industrial and Management Engineering attended the WATER SECTOR: Matchmaking event of Egyptian and German companies in Cairo as a representative of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology on Tuesday, November 28, 2023.
The German government organized the meeting in collaboration with Chemonics Egypt, a major consulting company in Egypt. The purpose of the meeting was to introduce German companies working in environmental and water treatment sectors to the Egyptian market, showcase their services, and discuss potential partnerships with Egyptian companies and entities.
Dr. Mohamed Khamees presented about the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, emphasizing that the faculty has expert consultants collaborating with numerous companies. The possibility of training engineering students in German companies was discussed, and some companies expressed their willingness to participate.
The meeting was attended by a significant number of major German companies in the environmental and water treatment sectors such as Vision Green Solutions, Bellmer, Duker, and Nivus. Representing the prominent Egyptian companies were Chemonics and Flowtech
