AAST Entrepreneurship Center was established by The Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport, with the focus of empowering Arab youth to create a sustainable growing ecosystem in the Arab region & Africa. It aims to build generations of young entrepreneurs & change agents who reshape the social & economic status of the Arab region & Africa by enabling an environment of innovation, growth, support & mentorship for private businesses in AAST.
Mentorship programs and training workshops provided by the AASTMT Entrepreneurship Center and Access to the AASTMT facilities are free for students.
Start-up School
AAST Startup School acts as the educational arm of the Entrepreneurship Centre. The main objective of this program is equipping early-stage entrepreneurs with the essential, substantial, and core knowledge & skills. On another side, supporting existing startups through advanced trainings and technical, industry-related mentorship programs. Also, the school provides AAST EC incubators with the required educational support to achieve the impactful incubation experience.

Good Will Incubator for AAST Students [4]
The 1st Business Incubator for Entrepreneurs with Disabilities, established in cooperation and sponsorship between Rowad 2030, project of the Ministry of Planning and Economic Development and the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy for science, technology and maritime transport. Goodwill Incubator is designed to support entrepreneurs with varying disabilities and startups that have innovative solutions for people with disabilities. Goodwill Incubator works on helping them develop their business ideas and turn it into real business through training, mentorship, consultation and prototype development.
We believe that Entrepreneurship and self-employment is one of most viable fields for people with disabilities who are looking to enter the job market on their own terms.
The first of its kind and also serves young people who offer solutions to people of determination. Supporting young people and selecting the best projects submitted by them, as well as networking between them and investors and stakeholders, and laying the foundations for an ecosystem specialized in supporting entrepreneurship and innovation for people with special needs.
During the training workshop, an exhibition was held to support the participating entrepreneurs with disabilities to develop their entrepreneurial projects and startups. In addition, presenting an award for the best project at the exhibition and encouraging it to participate in the International "Access Abilities Expo in Dubai, 15-17, November 2022, in coordination with the Union of Arab chambers and the UNIDO office for Investment and Technology Promotion in Bahrain.

Youth Incubator for AAST Students
The Implementation Strategy Matrix of the Entrepreneurship Centre offers various services to help youth enhance and validate their prototypes. Through our trainings, consultancies, exposure, and one-to-one mentorship, they support youth to launch their dream startups, and compete in the International Market. With their sector’ focused incubation programs, they fill the gaps.
The Youth Incubator at the Arab Academy is the incubation program designed for young entrepreneurs of students and fresh graduates, that aims to provide them with all needed support to start and grow innovation-based start-ups in different fields. The six months incubation program is tailored to meet the needs and challenges of early-stage entrepreneurs at that stage; it starts with a pre-incubation capacity building phase where students receive the essential knowledge and skills for entrepreneurial thinking and mindset as well as basic knowledge on marketing, finance, technical, etc. This is followed by a validation phase where start-ups start to explore their customers, market segments, and customer needs in order to provide the proper solution product or service. Start-ups then are being mentored across the prototyping phase and the start-up phase where they are being introduced to the market. The program offers technical and business support, consultation for prototype development, equipped co-working space at the Arab academy, and financial prototyping grant.
