  • Domain (1): Fundamental knowledge By the end of the course the student should be able to: Define terminology related to cosmetic preparations. List different types of cosmetic preparations and hypersensitivity tests. Design cosmetic preparations with proper choice of active ingredients and suitable excipients characteristics. Apply the related FDA regulations for labeling of cosmetic preparations. Domain (2): Professional and Ethical Practice By the end of the course the student should be able to: Compound different cosmetics preparation according to recognized guidelines and standard practices. Domain (3): Pharmaceutical Care By the end of the course the student should be able to: Provide proper patient counselling concerning the use of different cosmetic preparations. Domain (4): Personal Practice By the end of the course the student should be able to: Promote group work, self-learning abilities and effective time management.
