Objectives
- Domain (1): Fundamental knowledge
1.1- Discuss the basic facts and theories necessary to understand the functions of the different body system.
1.2- Describe regulatory mechanisms of the different body system
1.3- Describe the relationships and the integration in functions of the different body systems.
1.4- Define the functional organization of nervous system, and explain the mechanism of resting membrane potential , action potential and neuromuscular transmission of excitable tissues .
1.5- Explain the nature of hormones, general mechanism of their actions, and the hormonal functions of different glands.
1.6- Categorize factors affecting function of endocranial cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal tract and kidney.
Domain (2): Professional and Ethical Practice
At the end of the course the student should be able to:
2.1- Discuss in a simple way the pathophysiological mechanisms, manifestation, complication of famous diseased and predict the medical treatments.
2.2- Use clinical situation to demonstrate normal and abnormal human body functions.

At the end of the course the student should be able to:
3.1- Integrate knowledge regarding normal functions and mechanisms of pathophysiology of the different systems
3.2- Analyze the different mechanisms involved in performing the body functions to interpret any deviation from normal.
3.3- Analyze and correlate practical and theoretical data to understand human body function and their pathophysiology.
