The course provides students with a conceptual framework addressing the strategic importance of managing change and organization development in various agencies, human service organizations, community organizations and other settings. This course aims to help students understand and formulate effective strategies to develop organisations and assist individuals to cope with continuous change occurring at both the national and international levels. This course increases students understanding of dealing with and managing multiple aspects of organizational change. It enables students to develop different approaches and responses to organizational change from a human and process perspective. The course readings are aimed at expanding awareness and knowledge of multiple issues associated with change. The course aimed at skill building in ways that are related to students own organizational settings. Students will learn key skills for overcoming resistance to change in times of uncertainty, and for facilitating the transition process.
