This course is designed to cover the internal audit function that provides independent, objective assurance and consulting activity designed to add value and improve a bank's operations. Internal audit helps a bank to accomplish its objectives by bringing a systematic, disciplined approach to evaluate and improve the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. Thus, the main aim of this course is to understand internal auditing function in banking sector. Also, the relationships between corporate governance, internal control system, and internal audit function in banking sector.
