Description

This course analyzes financial problems corporations face that result from operating in an international environment. Major topics covered are corporate strategy and the decision to invest abroad, forecasting exchange rates, international portfolio diversification, managing exchange risk, taxation issues, cost of capital and financial structure in the multinational firm, and sources of financing.

  • 1. Introducing International Finance. 2. Dealing with the basic conceptual aspects for financial planning and decision making in multinational organizations. 3. Examining some basic tools of International economic analysis and quantitative methods used in the decision making process, and in measuring international financial indicators. 4. Discussing some contemporary international financial issues that help in understanding the International economic environment.
