As part of fostering international academic collaboration and institutional knowledge-sharing towards sustainable development, the Sustainable Development Department actively participated in the international workshop titled "Inclusive Universities and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)", organized by Galala University in collaboration with Technische Universität Dresden (TU Dresden), Germany, and the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) in Egypt.
The event featured a prominent contribution by Dr. Omneya Darwish as a key speaker in the fourth panel discussion, titled "Creating a roadmap for boosting inclusiveness in Egyptian universities towards sustainable development". During the session, she highlighted AASTMT’s institutional vision and pioneering efforts in championing inclusivity, accessibility, and embedding sustainability dimensions within the academic ecosystem, thereby contributing to an effective roadmap for advancing inclusiveness across Egyptian higher education institutions in alignment with the SDGs.
