In celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Sustainable Development Directorate organized a prominent seminar titled "The Academy’s Role in Supporting and Caring for Persons with Disabilities."
The event was held under the gracious auspices of the Ministry of Social Solidarity and the National Council for Women, and proudly honored by the presence of Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag, President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).
The seminar highlighted the Academy's unwavering commitment to providing comprehensive academic, psychological, and social support to persons with special needs, empowering them to unlock their full potential and achieve excellence across academic, athletic, and cultural fields. It also shed light on the Academy's inclusive environment that ensures equal opportunities and eliminates barriers, championing the core sustainable development principle of "leaving no one behind."
