Various Private Pharmacies in Alexandria in collaboration with the Alexandria Pharmacists Syndicate
•Third and fourth-year students are trained on the basics of working in pharmacies, organizing drugs, types of medications, medical supplies, and using specialized electronic programs. They also learn to dispense medical prescriptions, professionally interact with patients, and provide accurate medical guidance.
•Training Duration: One month (100 training hours) for third-year students in both Pharm D and Pharm D Clinical.
•Number of students: 248.
Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Companies:
•Fourth-year students were trained in all departments of the company, including the Penicillin Department, General Production Department, Sterile Area for liquid, solid, and semi-solid dosage forms, Microbiology Department, Packaging and Labeling Departments, Quality Control Department, and Research and Development Department. Students receive certificates upon completion of the training.
•Training Duration: Two weeks for fourth-year Pharmacy students.
•Pharco Pharmaceuticals Company: Number of students in the company: 8.
•Ayadi Al-Mustaqbal Cancer Hospital: Under the supervision of the clinical pharmacy team at the hospital, students inspected patient files, reviewed various treatment protocols, participated in field rounds with the treating medical team while visiting patients in different care departments, and observed the aseptic and secure preparation of various cancer medications.
•Training Duration: Two weeks for fourth-year Pharmacy students.
•Number of students: 8.
American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ashp):
This program involves specialized training in clinical pharmacy skills, where tenth-semester students undergo training and assessment on the ASHP's electronic platform. Utilizing the society's accredited training programs, students engage with 17 different modules covering therapeutic applications for various bodily diseases according to the latest international guidelines.

The College of Pharmacy at AASTMT is proud to announce the launch of its sixth-year training program for Pharmacy (PharmD) students, implemented in accordance with the Supreme Council of Universities' bylaws mandating this obligatory training. This program, meticulously designed to bridge academic knowledge and real-world practice, spans 36 weeks and encompasses a blend of compulsory and elective rotations. Students gain invaluable exposure through rotations in institutional and hospital pharmacies, clinical pharmacy practices, and pharmaceutical product development. By offering hands-on training in diverse healthcare and pharmaceutical settings, the program equips our students with the skills, ethics, and competencies needed to excel in their professional careers. Under the guidance of expert site-preceptors and faculty supervisors, trainees apply theoretical knowledge to practical challenges, ensuring a smooth transition into the healthcare workforce.
