    Al Alamein city

  2. Duration?

    Five-years undergraduate program for awarding the Bachelor Degree of Medicine & Surgery followed by two foundation years for practical training

  3. Is there practical training?

    Yes, there is 2 years of practical training

  4. Is practical training paid?

    Yes .. but less than tuition fees for the academic year.

  5.  Is there dorms available?

    Accommodation & Dorms are available upon request inside Alamein campus

  6. At what cost?

     The prices will be announced before the start of academic year.

  7. Is there a hospital belongs to the Alamein faculty of medicine?

    Under construction…

  8. Can graduates apply for postgraduate studies in public universities?

    Yes, they can.

  9. Are graduates assigned by MOH?

    The Ministry of Health (MOH) only assign graduates who want to work at MOH in the future.

  10. Is there students transfer from other universities?

     Yes, Students transfer is done according to AAST Students transfer Regulations and Admission requirements.

  11.  Are graduates licensed?

    All graduates will receive a license for medical practice from the Ministry of Health in Egypt after passing exams by the Egyptian Authority for Compulsory Training of Physicians.

  12. Is Clinical training available?

    Yes, we have 3 phases

    • Phase I (Pre-Clerkship Phase): via faculty simulators and skill labs.
    • Phase II (Clerkship phase): faculty hospital on Alamein campus or MOH nearby hospitals
    • Practical training inside one of MOH accredited hospital 

  13. Is there The academic collaboration with international universities?

    International academic collaboration is not ready until know. But student exchange program and exchange agreements are available with prestigious universities.
