Description
The DBA ( Doctorate of Business Administration) focuses mainly on the application of theoretical knowledge to the advancement of management and business practices. The DBA is recognized by international business and management schools as the most appropriate post-MBA , due to its emphasis on combining academic research and business practices to further development of personal and professional skills.
Learning Outcomes
- Doctoral program outcomes are as follows: students will demonstrate advanced knowledge and competence in the latest academic theories, concepts, technology-enabled opportunities, financially justified analysis, research operations, and market-based economy in the global field of business administration. They will also demonstrate integration from business and non-business disciplines to generate novel ideas, strategies, and practical approaches to address business issues faced by senior leadership in organizations. In addition, students will demonstrate effective research skills including the formulation of a research problem, integration of previous publications into an appropriate literature review, design of a research study, data analysis, and the ability to summarize and present results. They will generate, evaluate, and assess the ethical obligations and responsibilities of business for the purpose of responsible management. Finally, students will demonstrate an ability to address complex industry challenges using the frameworks of industry rules and regulations that build prescriptive conclusions and real-world experience and knowledge.
