Accreditation & Certificates

The Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport is a fully accredited member of both the Association of Arab Universities and the International Association Universities.

Undergraduate Program offered by the Mechanical Engineering Program -Smart Village Branch is accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU) according to the decree number 256 dated on December 3, 2007 and renewed according to the decree number 226 dated on October 17, 2010. Procedures of accrediting the undergraduate program of Mechanical Engineering -Smart Village Branch by the Institute of Mechatronics Engineers (IMechE)-UK has been performed and now in final stage.

In addition to the above mentioned accreditations, the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport has been awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate for its educational processes in September 1999, after following formal quality assurance procedures to maintain the educational quality level delivered to students.

Undergraduate Programs offered by the College of Engineering and Technology are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU) according to the decree number 135 dated on August 27, 1996 and renewed according to the decrees number 3 dated on February, 5, 2002 and number 118 dated on July, 10, 2007.

Postgraduate Programs offered by the College of Engineering and Technology are accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities (SCU) according to the decree number 30 dated on April 28, 2001 and renewed according to the decrees number 70 and 79 dated on June, 19, 2006 and number 97 dated on July, 24, 2006.

The Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) now named the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) accredited the undergraduate program of Computer Engineering, the undergraduate program of Electrical and Control Engineering, and the undergraduate program of Electronics and Communications Engineering on April, 27, 2005.
