This course includes enabling students to comprehend the main features and characteristics of modern digital cinematography and recognize the basic and advanced technical aspects of color, audio, and light. Students will also understand the way the colors and moods of lighting can deliver various meanings and define the advanced characteristics of specialized lenses. Furthermore, students will understand the effects modern cameras can create and develop an understanding of the roles of Cinematographer, Director, Art Director, Editor and Colorist.
