Objectives

  • This course introduces students to the fundamentals of public speaking skills. It enriches their knowledge about the oral communication process in an attempt to enhance their interpersonal and communication skills. The course also aims at encouraging the students to communicate fluently and accurately in media. Also, the course aims to present to the students the fundamentals of vocal production and movement for the stage. Including breathing, kinesthetic awareness, vocal placement and resonance, physical storytelling, and the interconnectedness of voice and body.
