The student is required to complete 120 ECTS credit hours, which is equivalent to 40 credit hours in the Egyptian system, divided into 4 semesters starting in February or September. In the first two semesters, the student studies six of the compulsory courses in addition to two elective courses. Odd-numbered courses in the first semester and even-numbered courses in the second semester are offered at 30 ECTS per semester (10 credit hours in the Egyptian system). While the third semester is devoted to the seventh compulsory course (SMFA07) by 6 ECTS (2 credit hours in the Egyptian system) as well as to the thesis with 24 ECTS (8 credit hours in the Egyptian system). The fourth and final semester is devoted to completing the master''s thesis by 30 ECTS (10 credit hours in the Egyptian system).
