 
      The OECD Artificial Intelligence Review of Egypt examines the country’s progress in implementing the 2019 OECD Recommendation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) Principles. The review highlights Egypt’s efforts to promote trustworthy, inclusive, and human-centered AI development while fostering innovation and capacity building across sectors.
Prof.Dr. Aliaa Youssef, Dean of the College of Computing and Information Technology, actively participated in this review as a contributing expert. Her involvement reflected the college’s commitment to advancing AI education, research, and policy alignment with international standards. Her contributions helped emphasize the role of higher education institutions in supporting Egypt’s national AI strategy and implementing the OECD’s responsible AI framework.

The event, themed “Arabic Language and AI: Advancing Innovation While Preserving Cultural Heritage,” brought together leading scholars, industry experts, and cultural ambassadors to discuss the intersection of Arabic language and artificial intelligence, highlighting innovation and the preservation of cultural identity.
