The objectives of the Basic and Applied Science department include: Forming a base for specialized studies in all educational programs. Offering advanced and applied courses for B. Sc., B.Tech and upgrading studies in all Colleges (Engineering, Navigation, Logistics, Computer science, Management) throughout the academy.

Our Mission is to form a strong foundation and understand of basic and applied science (Mathematics, physics, mechanics and chemistry) for the students of the academy (AASTMT) so as to help them understand and advance more in their various majors.
