Community Services

The Training & Community Services department within the College of Engineering serves as a vital bridge, connecting our academic prowess and state-of-the-art resources with the evolving needs of professionals, industries, and the wider community. We believe that engineering has the power to transform lives and build a better future. Through targeted training initiatives and impactful community engagement, we strive to empower individuals, strengthen organizations, and contribute meaningfully to societal progress.

We are deeply committed to giving back to the community and making a tangible difference through:

  • STEM Outreach Programs: Inspiring the next generation of engineers through engaging workshops, competitions, and mentorship for K-12 students.
  • Engineering for Social Good: Applying engineering solutions to local community challenges, such as sustainable infrastructure, environmental protection, and accessibility projects.
  • Technical Consultancy for Community Projects: Offering expertise and support to NGOs, local municipalities, and social enterprises.
  • Public Awareness Campaigns: Raising awareness on critical issues where engineering plays a key role (e.g., energy conservation, water management, technological literacy).
  • Volunteerism & Civic Engagement: Facilitating opportunities for AASTMT students and staff to contribute their skills and time to meaningful community service.
