With Participation of 15 Egyptian universities, Arab Academy for Science,Technology and Maritime Transport and National Bank of Egypt, launch Egypt Entrepreneurship Rally 2022.
The Arab Academy president`s headquarters in Abu Qir, Alexandria, witnessed the launch of the Egypt entrepreneurship rally 2022, organized by the Arab Academy for Science,Technology and Maritime Transport , through the Center for Entrepreneurship, in a strategic partnership with the National Bank of Egypt under the patronage of Professor Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Faraj, President of the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport, in the presence and participation H.E. Ambassador Dr. Kamal Hussein Ali, Assistant secretary-general for Economic Affairs League of Arab states, H. E. British Ambassador to Cairo Mr Gareth Bayley, and British consul to Alexandria Mr.Christopher Lasseter, Mrs. Nermin Shihab El-Din, head of Marketing and Sustainable Development at the National Bank of Egypt, on behalf of Mr. Hisham Okasha, Chairman of the board of Directors of the National Bank of Egypt, and a number of Arab League ambassadors, presidents and representatives of Egyptian universities and Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghaffar Ismail Faraj, president of the Arab Academy, stated that the launch of the Arab Academy for the fifth edition of the Egypt entrepreneurship rally, in a strategic partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, for the second year in a row, is an important message that the Arab Academy`s leadership role in supporting Arab and Egyptian youth, in cooperation with Youth in the Arab world and Egypt.
Abdel Ghaffar thanked the Secretary-General of the league of Arab states,H.E. Mr. Ahmed Aboul Gheit, and the ambassadors of the league of Arab states for their continued support of the Academy`s efforts in this regard.
For his part, Dr. Wael al-Dasouki, director of the Entrepreneurship Center at the Arab Academy, explained that this year`s competition includes several new tracks, to focus on the priority economic sectors within the framework of Egypt`s vision for Sustainable Development, these tracks are aimed at university students, namely public innovations and technological innovations, in addition to existing and soon-to-be announced startup tracks.
He added that the participants receive specialized training in entrepreneurship, as well as many opportunities to present their project ideas to investors and business owners from different sectors, in addition to financial awards, as well as guidance services from experts and specialists in entrepreneurship.

It is worth mentioning that two workshops were organized on the sidelines of the launch events, the first entitled, entrepreneurship, between finance, development and future jobs, and the second, towards leading universities, challenges, opportunities and success stories.
