The College of Engineering and Technology at AASTMT Heliopolis participated in hosting the 8th International Youth Conference on Radio Electronics, Electrical and Power Engineering (IEEE REEPE 2026).
The conference was organized in cooperation with the Moscow Power Engineering Institute in Russia and the American University of Sharjah. It provided an international forum for students, young researchers, engineers and professionals to exchange knowledge and present developments in electrical engineering, electronics and power engineering.
AASTMT Heliopolis students and IEEE student members participated in the conference activities.
International Women Summit 2026 – 7th Edition

A delegation of 40 AASTMT Heliopolis students attended the seventh edition of the International Women Summit 2026 in Cairo.
The international summit brought together leaders, experts and representatives from different sectors to discuss women’s leadership, professional development, entrepreneurship, innovation, wellbeing, technology and inclusive participation.
Student participation provided opportunities for learning, dialogue and engagement with professionals and experts from national and international organizations.
Arab League Model Simulation Training Program

Number of Student Participants: 50 students
Fifty AASTMT Heliopolis students participated in the Arab League Model Simulation Training Program, implemented in cooperation with the relevant training department at the League of Arab States under the cooperation framework between the two institutions.
The program introduced students to the structure and working mechanisms of the League of Arab States and developed their skills in research, dialogue, negotiation, public speaking, teamwork and formal debate.
The training sessions prepared students to participate effectively in the Arab League Model Simulation and strengthened their understanding of regional cooperation and diplomatic practices.
