Iraqi Minister of Transport visit to AASTMT

Within AASTMT President efforts to consolidate the bonds of cooperation with the Arab countries, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President has received H.E Prof. Dr. Hadi al-Amairi - Iraqi Minister of Transport and his accompanied delegation during their visit to the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) - Abu Qir Campus - Alexandria, on Wednesday 9- 5- 2012, where the Iraqi delegation has got a tour at AASTMT and visited the Integrated Simulators Complex, the Maritime Safety Institute (MSI), Vessel Aida (4) which is used in training AASTMT College of Maritime Transport and Technology students, as well as many other AASTMT facilities that show AASTMT efforts toward the development of its educational services in various areas, As the delegation has visited AASTMT Port Training Institute (PTI) on Thursday 10- 5- 2012.
It is worth mentioning that during this visit, there was a presentation that shows AASTMT education, training and consultation at the Port Training Institute (PTI), the Maritime Research and Consultation Center (MRCC), the Industry Service Complex and the Institute of Productivity and Quality. As His Excellency AASTMT President has expressed the possibility of providing all types of technical support needed in term of AASTMT technical training and Consultation to support the State of Iraq ports sector.
