Second place for AASTMT Team in ROV 2019

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) “Invictus” Team (AASTMT College of Engineering and Technology students - AASTMT College of Computing and Information Technology students) has been ranked as the 2nd in the final scores of 2019 international competition of Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV 2019) that was held during 20 - 22 June 2019, at the Kingsport Aquatics Center in Kingsport – Tennessee - United States of America (USA), under the supervision of the Marine Advanced Technology Education (MATE) and the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), with the participation of students from different countries distinguished universities and research centers.
In this regard, H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President congratulates all AASTMT “Invictus” Team members who represented Egypt in the finals of "ROV 2019" and achieved the second place worldwide, as well as they won the "Best Performance" Award for achieving the highest degree in the accomplishment of Under water missions (Under water Product Demonstration).
As it’s worth to mention that AASTMT Informatics Center is considered to be responsible for organizing the Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) competition for Egypt and all Arab countries, as for AASTMT strong keenness on supporting the scientific personnel and pursuit of elevating the level of education & scientific research, as well as AASTMT role on the educational development of various scientific fields.
