AASTMT President at ESCWA 20th session of Transport and Logistics Committee

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail AbdelGhafar Ismail Farag - President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the twentieth session of the Committee on Transport and Logistics that is organized by the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), under the Theme: Economic Development and Integration, Transport and Logistics, during 9 – 10 December 2019, in Amman – Jordan.
It’s worth to mention that the Committee on Transport and Logistics will review progress in transport-related activities since the 19th session, as the participants will also discuss trade costs in the Arab region, and the shift transformation towards the digital economy and its impact on the transport and logistics sector. Two round-tables will also be held, one on road safety and the other on the Belt and Road Initiative and its effects on Arab countries.
