"World Environment Day 2022" Celebration at AASTMT AbuKir Campus

Within the Arab Academy for Science and Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) role in sustainable development and environmental protection, AASTMT organized the activities of the "World Environment Day 2022" Celebration that was held under the theme "Only One Earth", on Monday 18- 7- 2022, at 10:00 am, at AASTMT AbuKir Campus (Hall of Arab Ministers of Transport) – Alexandria.
"World Environment Day 2022" Celebration activities were held in the presence of H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail Farag - AASTMT President, H.E Dr. Amal Rizk - Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the United Nations at the Regional Office in New York, Miss Eco International 2022 Kathleen Paton, and Miss Echo Egypt 2022 Nagham Tarek, in addition to the participation of a number of public figures and diplomats, as well as a number of major industrial companies and specialists in the field of environmental protection, and AASTMT Officials. It is worth to mention the participation of the United Nations Environment Program “UNEP” as an active and permanent partner in the annual hosting and as an organizer of the celebration activities.
