The Faculty of Pharmacy at AASTMT prioritizes student training in various pharmacy disciplines, especially clinical pharmacy. Partnerships with the Alexandria Pharmacists Syndicate enable students to receive supervised training in over a hundred private pharmacies. Students also gain practical experience in clinical departments of affiliated hospitals and must submit analytical reports on clinical cases. Training extends to pharmaceutical and medical supplies companies, covering research, quality control, production, assurance, planning, and marketing. Students undergo specialized training on clinical pharmacy applications through an educational platform, earning a Clinical Skills Certificate.

The students first registered for the training then after receiving their training letter they must attend orientation sessions under supervision of Dr. Mai Mahmoud, Dr. Mohamed Kholy, Dr. Dina Gaber and Dr. Passent Ehab. after that the students attended 15 days training in European Pharmaceutical industry in different sectors like research and development, quality control and production. they were able to see the manufacturing process of different dosage forms like tablets, syrups and suppositories. Students of 5th and 6th term are required to train in hospital pharmacies for 12 days (1 day/week) to perform basic and intermediate complexity activities including patient education, medication reconciliation, recommendation of non-prescription items for minor ailments, and assessment of drug therapy efficacy. Participants are also required to critically review the needs of the common patients in their practice setting and design a simple resource to address one or more of these needs. Students are closely followed by training site preceptors and report to College preceptors in bi-weekly progress review meetings
