CITL ASWAN was founded in 2007 to support and develop upper Egypt,
and it is the only institution in the Middle East and North Africa to provide a
Bachelor's degree in international transport and logistics in both Arabic and
English. Programmes of study dealing with the most recent advancements in
international transportation and logistics have recently been developed in
partnership with many institutions in different countries in Africa, Europe and
the USA. The programmes have been accredited by various authorities such
as the Association of Arab Universities and the International
University Association. The programmes have also been certified by the Higher
Council of Egyptian Universities as comparable to the B.Sc. degree in Business
Administration awarded by the Egyptian Universities' Faculties of Commerce.
Over more than 20 years, CITL had many achievements in education,
training and research in the fields of transport, Logistics and Supply Chain.
This is due to the methodological application of modern technology in these
fields. The CITL was thus able to move from regionalism to internationalism.
