Work shop on "Master Plan for Egyptian commercial ports until 2030"

H.E Prof. Dr. Ismail Abdel Ghafar Ismail -President of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) participated in the specialized Work shop that entitled "Master Plan for Egyptian commercial ports until 2030" that was held on Monday 9- 7- 2018, in the presence of H.E Dr. Hesham Arafat - Egyptian Minister of Transport, H.E Dr. Sahar Nasr - Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation, H.E Eng. Amr Nassar - Minister of Trade and Industry, H.E. Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar - Minister of Higher Education and H.E Admiral Mohab Mameesh - Chairman of the Suez Canal Authority and the Chairman of SC Zone, in addition to H.E Head of Maritime Transport Sector, Heads of Maritime Ports Authority, Chairman of the Maritime Safety Authority, as well as the Egyptian Ministry of Transport Advisors.
H.E Egyptian Minister of Transport announced the beginning of the study of an overall comprehensive master plan for the Egyptian ports till 2030, as it’s worth to mention that H.E AASTMT President signed a co-operational agreement in the field of consultation services with H.E Egyptian Minister of Transport, on Sunday 3- 6- 2018, as to hold a study on a comprehensive plan for the Egyptian commercial ports till 2030, where the government was decided to direct and manage the planning of ports future projects as for the importance of ports sector and the high costs of their development projects.
