[1-19] Impact of Setting and Infrastructure programs in supporting the Sustainable Development Goals SDGs.

The College of International Transport and Logistics building, constructed in 2025, was designed based on sustainability principles, with light-coloured materials to reduce heat absorption and energy consumption.

The campus design integrates sustainable landscaping and architectural strategies to minimize heat gain, including light-colored facades, extensive green areas, and careful analysis of sun paths and prevailing wind directions.

Description:

AASTMT has implemented several setting and infrastructure programs that contribute to supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

AASTMT promotes sustainability through the expansion of green areas and landscaped spaces, which help improve air quality and support biodiversity. These efforts align with environmental sustainability goals and create a healthier campus environment.

In addition, the use of campus transportation buses and the encouragement of walking and cycling help reduce carbon emissions and traffic inside campus. This supports climate action and promotes a more sustainable lifestyle among students.

AASTMT also ensures inclusive infrastructure by providing accessible facilities for people with disabilities, supporting equality and improving overall well-being.

Furthermore, the campus includes modern facilities and efficient systems that enhance energy use and resource management.

These combined efforts contribute to achieving several SDGs, including good health and well-being, quality education, sustainable cities and communities, and climate action.
