AAST Faculty Member Advances Water Supply and Drainage Expertise through CASTTC Program

We are thrilled to announce that our esteemed Ms. Shahenda Saad Haraz, Teaching Assistant, College of Logistics, Alamein Campus has successfully completed of one of enriching training courses that is Professional training program offered by China-Arab States Technology Transfer Center (CASTTC-AASTMT) and funded by the Chinese Embassy in Cairo on “Water Supply and Drainage Technology for Developing Countries” at Suzhou University of Science and Technology in China From August 27th to September 16th, 2024.

Ms. Shahenda immersed herself in a comprehensive program that equipped her with advanced knowledge and practical skills to tackle critical water and drainage issues in developing regions. This valuable experience has been a significant addition to her academic and professional journey.

Throughout the course, Ms. Shahenda had the opportunity to delve into the intricacies of water purification stages, observing each stage firsthand and applying her knowledge during field visits to water companies in Suzhou. She also participated in sustainable company visits that showcased innovative approaches to environmental sustainability, sharing best practices with other regions.

This training course has not only enhanced Ms. Shahenda’s expertise in water supply and drainage technology but also broadened her perspective on the importance of sustainable solutions for developing communities. We are proud of her accomplishment and look forward to seeing the impact she will make in her future endeavors.
