Sixth of October Western Treatment Plant for Waste Water Treatment of Smart Village Campus

A delegation of students from the Department of Construction and Building Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, specializing in Smart Villages, visited the Western Treatment Plant in the city of Sixth of October, reponsible for water treastment of the Smart Village Campus. This plant is one of the sewage treatment stations in the city, with a capacity of 150,000 cubic meters per day. The plant director delivered a lecture to familiarize the students with the stages of both secondary and tertiary treatment, explaining the methods used to dispose of the treated water or reuse it in various activities.
