Sustainable AASTMT

Rally Startup Competition is a full program that focuses on youth from 18 to 40 years who are eager to create and develop startups and become entrepreneurs. The program helps promote entrepreneurship amongst Egyptian youth by exposing them to the entrepreneurial culture and ecosystem from an early age. Competition focuses on the transformation of youths’ mindset to an Entrepreneurial mindset through the awareness sessions about the competition that are held online and offline in many governorates around Egypt, followed by an online ideation training that is available during the whole marketing phase to help youth learn the basics of Entrepreneurship, generate startup ideas, prepare the corresponding business models, and prepare an initial marketing strategy in order to be able to apply in the competition.

Rally Accelerate is an End-to-End Fundraising program that targets startups that are in the growth phase them for investments. The program was created in 2021 and has since been known as one of the strongest programs fostering fund raising and investment excellence. 

The program welcomes any start-up that has already made traction, which means they have started to attain revenues. It usually opens calls for start-ups operating in a variety of industries rather than focusing on one specific industry.

Arab Rally Competition for Entrepreneurship & Innovation is one of the largest entrepreneurship & Innovation competitions that gathers, inspires, develops, and mentors’ university students to help them develop innovative startup ideas, and turn their ideas into a real-life business and experience. 

This competition helps youth to become entrepreneurs from a young age, and learn about the entrepreneurship & Innovation culture and its wide ecosystem.

AAST- Regional Informatics center -RIC- is the headquarter for the -EOI- For the last 18 years, the RIC hosted, trained, and developed the skills of Schools student’s to participate and represent Egypt in the International Olympiad in Informatics -IOI- in collaboration with the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology.It is worth mentioning that the EOI competition is an annual competition in programming held under the patronage of MCIT and executed by AASTMT.

The contest fosters creativity, teamwork, and innovation in building new software programs, and enables students to test their ability to perform under pressure.

Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

The Department of marine engineering and platforms at the College of engineering and technology, the students of the department involved a number of students of other departments of the Faculty of engineering and technology in the competition (mechanical engineering department - electrical engineering department - Electronics Engineering Department - Computer Engineering Department - Construction Engineering Department) in addition to students of the Faculty of maritime transport and technology and students of the Faculty of computers and information and distinguished participation of a number of students of the International School at the Academy.

Also for this year the Entrepreneurship Center is the National partners of the Creative Business Network in Egypt. partner ship goes through  the different stages of the competition presented by Creative Business Network .

Entrepreneurship Center, provide supporting and empowering to the  local creative entrepreneurs to showcase their innovative ideas on a global stage.

MATE Egypt ROV Regional Competition 2023 is Powered by AAST Regional informatics center from 11 to 12 th May 2023  ,The idea of establishing the Regional Informatics Center (RIC) originated from the desire to catch up with the advanced development in the fields of Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, and Competitive Programming, The main purpose is to help in promoting the minds and talents of the MENA region students', and the necessity of creating a broad base of distinguished students who can catch up with the increasing acceleration in the development of Informatics and Robotics

The IIOT aims to be just like the International Olympiad in Informatics, but the problems are meant to be solved in team, Each team consists of four participants, All participants must be school students, Participants are required to have prior knowledge of C++, Each team can consist of at most one EOI23 Senior Gold Medalist and Champion Team will represent Egypt in the International Finals in Syria on May 2024.

The IIOT Egypt is supervised and sponsored by the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology (MCIT) and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport.

Beaver Challenge is an international initiative aiming to promote informatics and computational thinking among school students at all ages. It is organized in over 50 countries (3 million participants) and designed to get all students excited about computing.

Each participant gets 45 minutes to answer 12 questions that focus on logical thinking and computing.

International Transport AASTMT and Logistics Institute in Alexandria organize the "ISCEA Global Case Competition" in Egyp and will be held for the first time in Egypt, as it’s considered to be an international competition that targets logistics and supply chains students and graduates from different countries to present innovative ideas for a case study prepared by ISCEA regarding a company that is struggling with managing its logistic activities.

The Africa and Arab Collegiate Programming Championship (ACPC) is a qualifying round for the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC). ACPC is organized in the same spirit and is governed by all applicable rules of the ICPC.

The competition now boasts over 12,000 participants, showcasing the dedication of universities and students across Africa and the Arab regions for competitive programming and problem-solving.
